Have two 2 year old clamps from the same comapny. Hit my finger so many time so I had brueses. One is working fine, second does not lock and hold. I bought two clamps. One clap does not lock and hold.
Very easy to use. This clamp is great. You just need about a quarter inch all around to make sure the clamp fits.
They even helped me close a small gap that opened up hours after the job was completed. I only wish I had bought two more, but I was able to balance out the four I purchased and still have a fantastic result. This is my first time putting down a glue down engineered floor. I was able to strap one of the clamps down across the entire surface and remove the gap even after we had laid 6 more rows of planks.These are completely worth the money. I'm sure you can always sell them on ebay, but I'm going to give them to my helper as he wants to go into the business of laying floors. These straps helped keep our boards together and pretty much eliminated glue pull back or memory. I'm certain that without these clamps my job would not have looked anywhere near as professional.
Also, these clamps ensure that all boards are perfectly tight-which makes the installing of even the most stubborn products effortless and pain-free. Makes installing gluedown wood floors incredibly easier on the body and makes the process go alot faster(not as much bashing with the mallet). A MUST BUY for any installer. An excellent product. Extremely durable and very simple to use.
Would strongly recommend this product to anyone laying a floor. Helped to make both jobs perfect. Bob Lerner NJ This clamping product proved to be invaluable to me doing a 20x30 foot glue down floor and a 13x15 nail down ---I am just sorry I didn't buy 2 of them. It brought hard to manage tongue and groove slots together easily.
